Default How you're celebrating Christmas

I know Del Lardo's thread is a bit similar but I didn't want to take it off topic

How's everyone spending the next few days?

I'm meant to be resting as much as possible still which is getting annoying now, but today I'm getting the rest of the wrapping done so that hopefully there isn't any left to be done tomorrow.
Christmas Morning will be spent opening presents which tends to take till lunchtime anyway as my parents and I tend to really go for it with Christmas. Then probably spend the evening playing board games, although this year they're getting Scene It for the 360 so think we'll be playing that

Boxing Day's being spent with my bratty cousins, Aunt and Uncle and Grandmother. Not the most enjoyable day usually but ah well.

Then the rest of the week will be spent with the family all relaxing, eating lots, playing more trivia games, me showing them both various 360 games, and generally just spending time together. Interspersed with a few trips to see family friends but that's more next weekend and New Year.

Times like these, I love having a close family

Today I shall be faffing and playing EVE, then cooking a stir fry for dinner...

Tomorrow I shall be faffing and playing EVE as well as wrapping Kate's presents while she's at work, then pizza for dinner and some crappy films...

Christmas day I shall be cooking an awesome breakfast for me and my sister, Kate, then we're getting picked up at about twoish by my Brother's Girlfriend and we're spending the rest of the day with them and our friends Ian and Jude round at my Brother's house. There will be a multitude of presents (Kate can't seem to stop buying them!) and a six course christmas meal, the main course of which will involve two different meats

Boxing Day will be spent faffing...

Back to work on Thursday and possibly Friday (depends how far I get with paperwork on Thursday)...

I'm not entirely sure if my sister is coming over or not. Unfortunately I don't really have any family I spend time with, and friends are all far away. So Xmas morning is basically presents, then back to the internet to chat with mates I miss. As shy as I used to be at family events, I do miss that at Xmas.

Today - Housework (washings, dishes, vaccing, general tidying), AOE3, clean rat cages, think I'm doing oven chips and something for dinner.

Tomorrow - AOE3, housework that didn't get finished today, post a parcel to someone, pick up some shopping, no idea on dinner yet

Xmas Day - prezzies, get dressed, Mic's mother will be round 12:30ish - meeting other 5 friends at the Harvester where we're having a 4 course meal, back home for a bit/get changed/get rid of Mics mother then head to friends house where we'll probably play silly games/watch Debbs play Guitar Hero 3/whatever Debbs has planned for us

Boxing Day - No idea

Thursday - Dog sit Mics mothers mutt as Mics mum has to go to a funeral/wake, be bored silly as theres no interweb or TV, hopefully have sorted out tickets for a friends gig (although this isn't looking good atm )

Friday/Saturday/Sunday/NYE/NYD - Currently nothing although boys will need cleaning out again during this time

Normally this time of year we have friends down from Manchester so we spend a lot of time with them and last year we saw you lot. This year the Manc friends aren't coming down and we can't afford to see you lot.

Today - maybe hoover if I am feeling frisky, go shopping at stupid o'clock to try and miss the crowds, WoW, see friends, see Nik's mother.

Christmas Eve - wrap presents, get out the Christmas Stump and put tinsel on the Hippo, play WoW

Christmas Day - ditto near enough what Tak said and I resemble the Guitar Hero remark, get very drunk for midnight

Boxing Day - Possibly going to the cinema.

New Year - Don't know - probably nothing .. watch some films, play WoW or Guitar Hero - who knows The world is our mussel
