Default Unrecoverable data

Hey all,

My removable HD power connection within the box has just gone kaput. I can get the drive out to backup our data but would like to know if anyone has any software that would render any data unrecoverable when I take it back. Don't want anyone snooping round our stuff.

Cheers

When my 200GB drive went kaplooey I used this to knacker the data on it...

Ran a few passes and it seemed pretty ok to me

I think killdisk is what my old placed used, and they dealt with government stuff so had to be approved etc.

That image is so appropriate on so many occasions on internet forums that I have it permanantly parked on my webspace and have memorised the URL
