Installing Knoppix
I never did figure out how to install Knoppix live linux on my hard disk and I could never find a decent guide. Does anyone have a reliable walk-me-through guide how to do it?
(yes I'm looking for things to do with my time)

If you're installing I'd say Ubuntu>Knoppix but its a matter of personal preference really

I'd agree with the Ubuntu suggestion, i've not really had much experience other than "aaaarrggg what do i do" with other distros, but Ubuntu is a nice easy introduction
