Strange Places You Have Been.
As above, where are some of the stranger and more remote places you have been ?
For me It would have to be The Little A' Le Inn in Rachel which is a tiny outpost in the Nevada Desert. Also, Death Valley in California had an eerie sort of beauty to it. This is the Extra Terrestrial Highway. Rachel is to the left but not in view and the road cuts through the mountains. I took this picture in October 2005. This is me outside of said inn. The people who run it were great crack and the ice cold Coors went down well. Some of the nerds here may know the significance of what I'm leaning on ? Von Smalls takes a stroll into the desert in Death Valley, California. Anything comical about the reg of the hire car ?

I once did a photoshoot in the toilets of an old building. They had been left untouched since about 1940. That was different.

How is it possible to drive that road and _not_ put your foot flat to the floor and leave it there?

Faysh did on a road not dissimilar to that in Florida and got busted by a fat, hick Sheriff with a gun. $150

Was this an excuse to show off some recent holiday snaps then?
Anyway, nice. I've been to Nevada as well but have to admit it didn't even occur to me to find those landmarks. I was much more interested in Vegas and the Grand Canyon for some reason. PS - since you asked... Stange? Crocodile-shaped hotel Remote? Stuart highway (and yes, I went before the speed limits ) |

I want to go to the States now.
My strangest (and favourite) place is probably the northern tip of Finland. No photos as my hands went numb every time I tried to work my camera. Nice to be in a place so quiet the only thing you can hear is the blood in your ears.

Last week I had an odd band practice. It was in Brighton in a renovated underground toilet. You would never have guessed it was there the top of it looks like the "above ground graves" and the toilet down there stank and obviously was the original old toilet. Good sound though!!
