Want to be an Astronaut... Well here's your chance!
Astronaut Wanna Bes Click Here!
Trying to convince Picky to go for it - nothing to lose, much to gain. If he became an astronaut, I could send my cards to the Aliens! Tis fascinating though. Love it all. Really do. |

Hey this is so not related, but have you ever tried that dried cotton candy stuff they sell by saying that astronauts eat it? I'd consider being one if thats really what they feed you all the time.

Sorry to pop your bubble Pheebs but the UK doesn't participate in the ESA Astronaut programme so that rules most of us out.

Bubbles not popped! You can be English and apply! It's "preferable" you speak Russian though (I can say "I'm a fish, you're a fish, we're all fish!" in Russian!)
My good good friend wworks for ESA in France as some technical engineer person thingy (when he broke it down to me in simple terms what he did he said "I help design and build space ships") He really wants to apply for it apparently but he's in his 50's. Booo! My Bro would be ideal for this kind of thing - all the right qualifications and can fly and everything. He's just not got 100% eyesight Which sucks balls. |

Ooh, that's a nice policy about-face then. Good news indeed, though pardon me if I remain at least a little skeptical.
