Sunny Superb Weekend :D

Yesterday was FAB! My Brother has just passed his Phd making him a Doctor of some crazy Physicisness! *so proud* Sooo, Picky, my Ma, my Pa and I tootled up to Bristol and had a scrumptious picnic in the garden, played some wii fit and then went out to a restuarant to celebrate! Was great!

We bizarrely managed to bump into Desmo too - knew he was out on a stag in Brizzle but yeh! Didn't expect to see him and it was indeed fab to say hey-dee-lee! It's a small world isn't it!

Also, Puppydawg Trio was WONDERFULLY looked after by a sexy hunk.

Today, has been blissful!

I have woken up refreshed, plonked on a load of washing, mowed the lawn, strimmed the lawn, planted some more carrots, done some weeding and then... I have been led in the sun reading A Long Way Down (something I have had since christmas and keep picking up and putting down).

We've had a bbq which was LUSH, I managed to make humous which tastes yummy (for once!) and then... more reading in the sun with my book.

Annoyingly my factor 15 wasn't strong enough and I now have rather warm backs of knees and bottom! Doh! I think when I strip down for the bath tonight I will look like this:

It's been lovely and relaxing and refreshing though. Really enjoyed it.

What have you all been up to this weekend?!

That was well funny. Was casually walking down the street minding my own business when all of a sudden I hear "Jaaaaaamiiiiieeee!!!!!!". Look over and see Pheebs and Pickers jumping over the little fence and running at me

I went to a garden centre yesterday with Jamie's Mummy and Auntie so I wasn't alllll on my ooooooown

Ballcocks to this hot weather. I'm sat in front of 2x12000btu air conditioners rebuilding a couple of servers and I'm chuffing roasting.

Add to that the F1 is on and I'm going to have to miss the end of the race as I need to pick the other half up from Gatwich at 9:00 - and it's an hour and a half drive away.

Had a lovely weekend. Didn't really do much yesterday, but Leon made me light box thing for my new lizard tank and I pottered in the garden and planted my tomatoes in their tubs. Today I've been in the garden with little Flo and managed to get my shoulders burnt despite hiding under the washing line in the shade. Flo has now discovered the catmint. Heaven help us! Oh and Kitten - those cat things don't work

they're just to stop them ****ting on your garden, so she sniffs it but isn't repelled as such. Damn! We also had a lovely BBQ tonight, which was delicious and then watched the final couple of laps of of the Grand Prix.

we also had a super weekend
yesterday morning we drove up to jaspers families house - took 24 krispy kreme donuts (which were all gone by the evening) and he and his dad played around with the car whilst i lazed around and played with the dogs / cats. had a lovely meal out, i haven't laughed so much in a long time!
today we saw my family, had a bbq with the parents, my brother, grandma and my aunty and uncle. we're moving house soon, and they offered us some furniture (yay) and i got a bit tiddly on beer and took pictures of the lawn. we also drove up to the lickey end (fnar) beacon so he could take photos of the gorgeous panoramic view, and as lovely a day as it was - they didn't look half as nice as they should have. jasper and my brother had a game of badminton - then we've driven home.
i'm a bit pink, (despite the suncream) and a bit headachey but its been loverly and it's going to make it evwn harder to go back to work on monday

glad everyone else seemed to have fun too
