Why? What difference does it make? It's a remake of an old classic so it's bound to be crap who ever leads it. Could be worse, could have been Will Smith.

This is very true, I'd love to know who gave him a break into 'comedy' so I can return the favour with interest.
Unlucky Wossi, I've not seen the original but I can't see the remake being any improvement, especially not with Keanu "my best roles involve me acting like an automaton" Reeves* starring. *He is in one of the films I enjoy most but I do recognise he can't act worth a damn.

I'd actually be kind of keen to see this version.

The old classic is rubbish.
Hope the remake is good as it should be a good film. A lot of classic films are only liked because of cult status.

Did you not see the cast list?
It has as much chance of being good as The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift did.

Cast list don't mean much to me. It's much more down to the director and style of the film.
