New camera

My parents got me a new digital camera for my coming birthday, a nikon coolpix s510. It's a good little camera for what i want it for. Here is a picture i took while on holiday that i am quite pleased with, straight off the camera only resized.

Nice (both the shot and the camera). It's good to see some realistic colour reproduction (especially the sky) out of a compact.

Most of the Compacts now offer really good quality photo's. Nikon CoolPix is a good camera.
Buy a little tripod and start messing around in dawn & dusk, indoor shooting in manual modes ! !
Go out and enjoy it.
