I'm sure most of you have heard of these guys, sending out letters accusing people of sharing games they've sometimes never even heard of before and demanding the best part of a grand to not take you to court.
Well, up until now, they'd never actually taken anyone to court over it. They've won a case now, against a woman. Quote:

I'm not sure what I'd be more ashamed of; getting caught uploading pirated games to other users and becoming a public benchmark for prosecution, or people finding out that game was Dream Pinball 3D.

That'll just give them more ammunition to go after others with their dodgy tactics. They came here because the same tactics got laughed out of court overseas. Such a pity.
Still, if she did share the game, even if it was Dream Pinball 3D. Yet another reason not to use Torrents. |
