Default Oh meh!

I really really hate the first day back at work after a holiday :/

I have notes, paperwork, resident files, new staff info, rotas and rosters, oh and a warning about some guy who carries a knife who might come to the door

By the end of today I'll be ready for a holiday again

Well it may sound a little miserly but I assure you it's a damn slight better than being 'inbetween' work with no moneys!

I've returned after last weeks hols to a complete maelstrom. I'm off on training Thursday and Friday so have to cram a week of work into three days. This includes interviewing new candidates for my old position, organising a two-day disposal of a few hundred CRT monitors, setting up a new suite of Macs... oh and someone thought it would be a good idea if we had a work experience student for the next two weeks starting today.

I've been in an hour and have finally wrangled my emails to something manageable. Time for a coffee before it all kicks off.

I've got a load of stuff to get through today as well. Nobody does my work when I'm away so I'm a week behind already

Same and I've just realised I have to process the time sheets by thursday afternoon (usually takes a about a day) - looks like I'm heading for some extra early starts and late finished this week; so much for staying relaxed

Means I can't get back into my gym routine though

I had the maelstrom before I left. I crammed over three weeks work into two, with 60% of that in the second week.

Today is blissfully quiet so far.
