Pah, Scottish is above Geordie overall but not as a regional accent itself.
Problem is that Weegie Scottish sounds so vastly different from Edinburgh Scottish we might as well be speaking a different language - "haw pal, ah'll chib ye'ez aw tha noo ye bams" compared to "would you like a cup of tea my dear?". I only regret that I can't remember half the phrases you come out with Mr VS, they're awesome, I doubt they'd sound right coming from me though unfortunately.

exactly... 'Scottish' is a bit too wide ranging. Edinburgh/Glasgow/Wick/Inverness/Aberdeen all sound hugely different. I have pan loaf Scottish accent though I think in this area the acccent is much softer and less prounounced than other accents North/South of here.

I call shenanigans- WTF is "Queen's English"? Assuming they mean Received Pronounciation then I would consider it the antithesis of cool. Unless you're Stephen Fry.
