Default Why are there no decent mobile banking websites?

Its something that annoys the geek inside me! I've got a phone with decent internet access but i have to fiddle to access my banking online with it because its just clearly not designed with phones in mind.

I'm with HSBC, and hsbc.mobi actually redirects to their main website! After some digging i've found they've set up hsbcfrance.mobi which works as one would expect, but thats as far as they got. Call themselves the worlds local bank? Pah.

But its not jus HSBC none of the major banks seem to offer anything dcent that i can find anyway, none of them advertise anything at all, and i did do some digging.

Barclays seem to be the exception to the rule, and although i'm even thinking of switching banks because of it, theres no other reason they're any better than HSBC and its a lot of hassle in the long run too...

What going on then? Is there something i've missed? Any tricks of the trade?

Oh and while i'm ranting why the **** don't mint get there act together and get a UK version sorted out too while they're at it!
