Nope the deal is still working, you get it for £5 when you add it to the basket

Ahh right.
I'll be extremely amazed if they honour it though, especially as it's priced correctly initially.

Maybe it's a pre-order price?

The interesting thing is that it ISN'T priced incorrectly, the price on the site is correct, its only in the basket that the error occurs. I don't think that will stop them cancelling it but as one guy says on UKhotdeals they have a policy of only honouring the price in the basket and not on the site, this covers them for a screw up in the page where its advertised but this is the reverse situation where the price looks right but the background database is wrong. Will be interesting to see how it pans out.

Once they've sent you the confirmation email, my understanding is they have to do one of two things:
  • Debit £5 and give you the game upon release date.
  • Debit nothing and not give you the game - but inform you that they're doing this.
They way I see it, they can't simply charge you £70 without warning you and giving you a chance to cancel at the very least, since the email you've received (which is essentially a receipt, yes?) says you will be charged £5... right?
