Easiest way - download foobar2000
Load the MPC's into foobar2k Highlight the lot - right click - convert Choose the format and quality and away you go. Simon/~Flibster

I had a look at the web site
What is foobar ? Is it a MS Media Player plugin or a separate player ?

It's a seperate player. It's extremely good. Replaced Winamp for me as my main media player.
TBH - I only use Media Player for encrypted WMV's now, and that just so I can capture them and put them into a good format. Simon/~Flibster

No, but there is various UI Plugins you can get. I just use it as is with audioscrobbler.

Easiest way is to download the lame executable from here.
I tend to extract that to something like c:\lame for ease. Load the FooBar and load the MPC's into it. I'm assumign here that you want to do a lot of files at once, so just load all you want up. Highlight them all - Ctrl-A works Right click on the files - select Convert. Gives you several options, the one I tend to go for is Convert to... Then asks for the Converter setup. In the drop down select MP3 (LAME) - you can change the settings by clicking on the ... to the right. It should default to 190kbps VBR Click OK, it may tell you that you are going to transcode from a lossy format to another lossy format - just say Yes. It'll then ask you where your lame.exe is. it should be contained in the zip file from above - just point it towards wherever you extracted it. It'll then ask you where you want to save the converted file. Guess what you do here... It'll then go away and convert the files. Simon/~Flibster
