Sorry Miss Hughes.

Oh, wait it's not Lynne shouting at me for a change

Just read this.

Quote:
It looks like yet again QA teams and the Microsoft Certification team have fallen asleep at the switch. Complaints are filing in from people who have downloaded the new Crackdown content. The content went live today but it seems to be resetting their save games back to scratch and un-leveling their characters. Not cool.

Right now it seems like the most common trigger is joining a co-op game of keys to the city. Once you exit out of a ‘keys’ game with your fully leveled agent and start a solo game, your character progression is reset back to day 1, everything 00 and no weapons, no unlocks, no warp points, all agility and hidden orbs need to be found again, etc. Basically it’s as if you just came home with Crackdown and fired it up for the first time.

There are also some reports of the new ‘Reset Gangs’ feature being more like a global reset doing the same thing as the ‘keys’ game. Everything resets back to the very first time you ever played Crackdown.
I've reset the gangs on mine and I still have my stats. A bit worried about loosing them now though.

That is worrying :/ Puts a downer on it really, on paper they've done a great job with this DLC - perfect mix of free and premium stuff, all without crippling co-op in the process.

Aye they've done a great job. Pretty much the best DLC so far aside from the stats and orb issue.

Workaround, if it hasn't happened to you. Worth noting if you dont have the title update/DLC yet

Haven't downloaded the DLC yet but really enjoying the game. Have decided my preferred way at the minute to kill gang members is to punch and kick them, see how they fly!!!!!!!

I think the problems with DLC is that there are so many variables to test for, the state of people's save games etc, sometimes things will be missed. Thankfully most companies are very fast to fix things

I've got the free content, no way of getting the premium content besides co-op as I've only got 750 points spare atm.
Free content seemed interesting when I had a look last night Didn't get much of a chance though.
