Absolute rubbish for a top of the range Eclipse line, that's supposed to be an 8Mb connection and I'm connected at just about 6. I'll try and remember to run it again in the morning when it's quiet as we're into peak now.

This is what I get from home: It's supposed to be "as fast as we can get" - the line speed on the router says over 8mb but I've seldom seen more than 7.2 - still good enough for me

Is what I get which should be on a 4mb Virgin link (I think), however I believe one or both my flatmates are absolutely raping the connection right now so I might try again later. I totally feel like the pauper of the forums with this measly connection though having seen all the rest.
