Default Daft Deals

I don't eat many sweets but some of you may be interested.

I got sent out shopping by the director at work to get some chocolates and had £10 to spend.
Wandered into Tesco and found their "xmas" ( ) sweets.
They have large tins of quality street that are £9.99 each so I thought that would do. I then noticed the sign that said "2 for £9".

Ended up getting a tin for the director and putting the other in the raffle for the residents

Bloody hell, presumably they missed off a 1 before the 9? I just posted a daft wine deal thread if anyone's interested.

I like the idea of a thread that spots pricing mistakes though. Always nice to find a bargain!

I asked - apparently all the big tins (quality street, roses, etc) are on 2 for £9, it just happens qs is the only one above that in the first place

Blimey. Odd deal, unless the others are more like £5-6 a tin.
