Very sad news
Its definately him I'm afraid and his son as well. This comes from Dave Plant who Colin McRae was building the R4 with. As far as I know, they have known since very late yesterday afternoon.

Very sad indeed. Rest in Peace.

Good grief, unbelievable, and 2 children as well, at least one very very young.

Absolutely tragic.

I never followed his career, but years ago I took some friends out in my car, and I was told I reverse like Colin McRae, that could only have been a good thing Now everytime I reverse quickly, I always think of him, for some reason it stuck over the years, and I only thought it yesterday Sorry this isnt related to the story at all, it just seemed a fitting tribute

Such a shame

RIP Colin and the other victims. I heard about the accident before anyone was talking about Colin. Hoped it wasn't true but it now seems it is.
