Nope, I'll be around tonight for a while. No Sky so no way of watching the match (assuming we're on, I have no idea), so if I'm not watching TV with Lynne then I'll be online

Halo! Is it me you've been looking for? Annoyingly limited edition tin sets of Halo 3 contain scratched discs. I just got mine and it is scratched! I don't want to send it away to MS. I just bought the damn thing!

Well I've got the first 10 minutes of gameplay to watch on my lunch hour so I'll see if that persuades me to play it.

From my quick 10 min play, it does seem like a refined Halo 2. I really like the way you can see shield impact through your visor. The controls are better with the new controller too. I just have to hope this scratch doesn't affect the game.

Took it back, swapped it and its the same. Game said they got an email from Bungie saying the entire batch is like that. They say it won't affect gameplay. Here's hoping. I don't want to be 10 hours in and find it stops.

It's been all over the news that the special edition ones are pretty much all the same way. If you want to make sure you get a good copy, try this:
http://www.xbox.com/en-US/support/sy...nt-program.htm I've played the first level and it's not exactly awe-inspiring so far. Will reserve judgement until I've tried all the weapons and vehicles etc. Control system is good though.
