Ari
From Canada, in a secret garden in the business centre, pretty much Calgary's Canary Wharf, there was a little arch...

It is a nice shot, but its not "right" somehow. I think the strong divider in the image (the side of the arch) breaks the photo in half and keeps the eyes over to the left. I am not at all exaggerating when I say I went back to the text to try and find out what the shot was about before I noticed the girl! I dont think the matermark helps any but its hard to look at as a whole. If the soft background was on the right with her leaning against the edge of the image it would feel much more balanced I think. Nice colours and general feel to the image though
Did you take it? Are you happy with it? If yes to both then its all that matters really |

Thanks for the comments
I wish I could've zoomed out more but it was against a wall, and to the right was a rubbish background...I think it's 'ok' - it's not my best shot - I have a couple more in different positions - but they've done a runner I could probably photochop her to the other side if I have enough width with the other few I have *somewhere*...'tis a good idea, thanks |
