True... so onion strings, baguette and a 2CV - sounds perfect.

having looked on parkers and on the web my car with the mileage it has and the good condition it's in is selling between 6-6.5k which is a lot more than I was expecting - I doubt that my mods would put the price up unfortunately. :/

Will you are far too young for a sensible car. What you are saying it that you want a diesel pos to run around in and keep your motor as a weekend toy. You are 27 will, add 15-20 years and then look at trading it in for a slower car.
That said if you get rid without chatting to me, I will be seriously miffed. |

Mmm i want an mx5 for my next car, doubt it will happen but i can dream I honestly would miss my massive boot. I think you have covered all the reasons, there is nothing wrong with you at all. There comes a time where you need something build for comfort and a little bigger than your toy car. Doesn't mean whatever you replace it with can't be fun.

I'm not shocking people as much as I thought! Maybe this is normal after all?!
Zirax - that's one thing I'm not going to get a diesel, yes I know they're very good now, but I just don't like 'em.
