^^ They're my work boots.

Not sure how they'd be for walking in, I'm just showing them off cos they're ace.

I've got these for working on sites. They are quite possibly the most comfy things ever, great for walking in as well.
Also because for some reason finding steel toe cap boots that don't make you look like a builder and are small enough.

I've just upgraded from bog standard Magnums, the slipper of the boot world, to the Gucci-ier ones which are like having clouds made out of beer surrounding your feet.

I cannot recommend Merrell Jungle Mocs highly enough. I buy a new pair once a year and then live in them day in day out. Suitable for most occasions and very comfortable. I've walked 10 miles in a pair reaching the end of their life and my feet were fine. Alas the same could not be said about my legs.

Lightweight hiking shoes or boots ftw. They'll also serve you well on the occasional off-tarmac rambles too. My local TK Maxx tends to have a few pairs at a decent price.

Converse all the way, can walk for miles in them

You won't be able to about the first half a dozen times you walk any distance in them, but after that your feet will have hardened up.

I don't want my feet to harden up, I like having feet that are as soft as a babies bum.

I swear I have developed leather on my soles of my feet. Well at least they match my callused hands!
