I've had dozens of handsets from all of the major manufacturers, and the SLVR was the most user-unfriendly set I've tried in the last ten years by a long way.

W880i at £150 would still be less than buying out 9 months of contract @ £30/month though...

We all tried to talk him out of it for ages though (by some of us that have had previous incarnations of the same phone with equally disasterous results!) so a certain level of "I told you so" is acceptable

I only used that as an example because it was used earlier in the thread I wouldnt buy one unless I specifically wanted a phone that thin.
