Default America is nice...

But it's nice to be home at last.

Landed at 10.30 am (I think) yesterday, got home at 1.30pm and got to work for about 2 I had about 10 minutes sleep in about 26 hours so had a damn good sleep last night, just not enough.

Managed to pick up 2 pairs of Oakley sunglasses for a total of about £125 when 1 of them retails in England for £220 Also picked up the new Blade Runner Special edition box set - http://www.amazon.com/Blade-Runner-F...9356136&sr=8-1 (it's a safe link) for about £35 and had some of the best steak in my life.

Word of warning though, Chicago can get very cold this time of year, on the way back we had to transfer there and I decided to nip outside for a smoke and nearly froze to death also Chicago O'Hare airport is pants, Luton in comparison is excellent.

Just need to get my body clock back to UK time now before I drive to Eastbourne for a party this weekend.

But Chicago has those funky fluorescent lights!

Already planning my next trip to the States, New York again in a couple of months then Miami in September, with possibly a California trip in November or so...best start saving!!!

I got back from Vegas NYE, still knackered now, bumped into Baddass out there and had a few beers

Took the missus 2 hours from hitting the hotel before she was walking round with a Jimmy Choo carrier bag

Also got back to find out that Maxjet, who I had booked my flight for the WSOP with have gone bust so have had to spend the day sorting new flights and re arranging hotels ( flights were 1 day different )

Agree re ORD airport, what a crap hole

I agree too about ORD. Transited through there on the way to San Fran or somesuch. Awful place, though I got escorted though by airport personnel and bypassed all the queues, so maybe not so awful.

May end up in San Diego sometime in June this year. Would love to go back to San Fran or NY though.
