Paypal / Ebay

On November 24th I purchased a 6p headlight from ebay. It was a Christmas present, amongst a number of others...
Also paid £4.49 P&P.

Two weeks later I finally took delivery. Of a external hard drive casing, possible containing a HD. In retrospect flogging this would have probably made me money but I wrote back that I wanted the item I had ordered.

To cut a long story short after £1.35 return P&P and a number of emails I finally got a mail last Saturday that I had a refund. (I wanted £5.90...).
Paypal helpfully tells me I have gotten "a full or partial refund for your payment" but when I login I see no sign of this.

Is there any way short of waiting 3-5 working days - as a guess - to see what money goes into my account? I'd rather starting bashing them over the head now about any missing money given they screwed up than waiting another week.

It's not like I'm going to starve, but it's the principle of thing thing darn it!

(Incidentally I bought the same item from another seller for 6p and a little more postage and it arrived within a week despite being just before Xmas )
