Default Mac, Crackle & Pop

Been having problems here with one of our Macs which has decided not to start up after Xmas for some reason. I use it to print out to certain printers which aren't currently running under Leopard (for some stupid reason...it's the first time I've been severely disappointed with OS X).

So, I remembered that I'd taken an old iMac home a while back that had OS X on it so thought I'd bring it in. I went down to the shed this morning and brought it back up to the house. Plugged it in, turned it on and then proceeded to watch the fireworks start up under the blue translucent cover
There's were flashes of light, sparks and crackles going on all over the place. Thought the whole thing was going to go up in flames so carefully approached it and pulled the power cable out.

Think it's dead but I might try it out again tonight, hehe

*sniggers*

Although I admit it's more likely because of damp in the machine rather than because it's a Mac

This is what happens when you put too many volts through it (more than none) - please stick to using it for it's intended purpose - as a boat anchor

A video would have been most awesome, but not blowing up your house obviously had to come first.

In the unlikely event anyone thinks I'm being serious - I'm not - watch the 'crash different' video

That's only Vista on laptops that does that - XP works just fine thanks.

I'm quite happy with Vista on my laptop, especially now I've disabled some of the crap that has no use to me whatsoever. It's not as nice as I generally find XP, but I've had no real trouble with it

It's not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own lights shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.
