Not sure how they would actually be able to prove anything anyway. As long as you don't arrive in a fully sponsored Ferrari with your name down the side and a pile of sponsors, who can tell?

What counts as a trackday? I have racked up thousands of hours on track but I have never ever done a "track day".

Yup that's the other thing! I will have been on a track three times by then, but never a track day.

I'm guessing that the only way they'll know is if you're a regular at the circuit or if you turn up in a full on race car. Just act nervous in the briefing, ask a few stupid questions and don't make everyone else look too slow and you should be fine

I've never done a track day either although I've done 2 sprints and my fair share of karting.

Hit the gravel on the first corner and they'll never know you're a pro

same for me really

I would love to have a so, and stretch the scooby properly

but it is mostly unlikely this year.

Lies.

It was the third corner and I'd done a few clean runs by then.

So Snetterton is looking likely then? Any chance of nicking floor space, cheeky I know but it would save a drive to get there for 7:30

I brought new pads in Oct/Nov and the car has barely done any miles <1k since then and new rears with about 600miles on them

One further question..... should I turn the TC off when doing track driving

-------------
edit - There seems to be a lot more track day experience people on here than I realised, nice one

Prety much same here. Done 5 track days in my life.

This for road cars only?
