i think i'm either going to get my mum a pen, pencil case and some other bits to go in it - (she works in a school and the kids are always pinching her stationary) or some clothes. although we 'do' these silly little holidays i think it's always nice to have an excuse to spoil the people you love (and i am a stickler for 'useful' presents rather than the boring tacky crap that's sold just because it's mothering sunday) Last edited by goldilocks; 26-02-2008 at 13:01. |

Mum got her flowers. She got so many it took three vases to hold them all.
Anyone need flowers in Chelmsford area? Stacy's flowers in Dunmow High Street. Highly recommended. |

I forgot about it until this afternoon Only ordered Mam's whisky today so it won't get there until Tuesday
I'm sure she'll understand though, she's well used to my memory by now I've ordered her a bottle of Yamazaki 12yo. I had the 10yo and thoroughly enjoyed it but thought another couple of years in the cask would benefit it greatly, so I would think the 12yo should hit the spot nicely. I think I'll be ordering a bottle for myself when I get home.

I got the funniest musical cards which Daisy sang along to opera stylee. And breakfast in bed!! I nearly got a hernia trying not to laugh.....I had 3 giant wraps stuffed with ham, pepperoni and salad (and hair! How I didnt barf I have no idea) and a bowl of chopped carrots and apples.
