The bumpers are a big steel bar with foam outside them and then the decorative outer skin.
The back bumper is definately being gutted at some point, plan is to ditch the foam plus as much of the steel as I can whilst still being able to bolt it to the car leaving just the outer skin in place. If I go into anything backwards there's still an engine and 3 bulkheads between me and the outside world so it should be safe enough. |

Right we've got some details through on times and stuff. Easiest thing is if I direct you here:
http://www.fensport.co.uk/downloadfi...2016.03.08.doc Most of this is only of relevance to competitors however it does state that I'm supposed to make sure all our groupies are aware of certain bits of it so please have a quick read. I'm guessing we'll be aiming to arrive somewhere between 7:45 and 8am. On track action will be starting at about 10am. One important thing you'll need to be aware of that I've picked up from there is that you will need to have some form of ID with you. Seeing as this is presumably for security reasons as part of entering a live military facility I'd suggest you make sure you bring something a little more credible than your nectar card. I've also seen mention that they will need addresses for all spectators. Not sure whether these will need to be given in advance or if it'll be information that they'll take from you on the day so could you please PM me or vix with it just in case I need to pass it on. |

Whenever you want really. Anytime from 8 if you're really keen but it might get a bit boring if there's nothing on track to watch.

Mr Z, you'll be pleased to know I only had 1 beer after my meal, so should be reasonably coherant for the journey Ok, so I had a few before watching the rugby, but that don't count, right? Give me an hour's notice before you're ready to leave please |
