Xbox 360 VGA
I decided to move the xbox back to the VGA connection on our PC and we're now starting to get red speckles on the screen. After the initial panic of thinking there was a problem with the TV I did some research and testing. The red speckles appear only in dark scenes and always show when replaying the same scene over and over. On all other inputs there are no red speckles at all so I'm thinking either the xbox or the cable.
My research suggests that it's the cable that is a fault, so my question was does anyone else have a 360 vga cable I could use to see if it's mine? I bought a cheapy one off ebay for £7 so wondering if I'd get better results with an official one.

You do read a lot of issues with non official cables. I have the odd blip with my unofficial one (scan issues), but it's rare and short enough not to bother me.

They were very apparent last night to the point of being distracting where I was looking for them and noticing them more than watching the actual TV. I'll have to see if I can find an official cable then and give that a go.
