I miss my shooting too. Never did any comps apart from small ones down at the club. Used to shoot Police Pistol which went like...
Stage One 25 metres 12 rounds 2 mins standing unsupported, time to include reloading. Stage Two 15 metres 6 exposures of 2 secs 1 shot/exposure 6 exposures of 2 secs 1 shot/exposure Stage Three 10 metres 3 exposures of 3 secs 2 shots/exposure Total Shoot 30 Best I ever got was a 298/300 which I was really chuffed with. I ended up shooting better than the guy who taught me Just as I was applying for my license and buying equipment the handgun ban came in and I gave it up

I shot .22 smallbore rifle. Went to national competition at Bisley a couple mof years and won a few golds, silvers and bronzes, then the year I was promoted to C class I left for uni and never went back...
