Default This could take longer than I thought.

Been sorting out all my pootery stuff to check it all out and it looks like it's going to take me a while.

There are 6 Full PCs:

A collection of RAM and CPUs:

11 motherboards, 5 PSUs, 5 optical drives, 5 HDDs, 1 floppy drive and 1 card reader:

9 GFX cards, 10 coolers, 3 sound cards and 2 LAN cards:

Goodbye weekend

Bloody hell, that month seems to have gone quickly.

That's a lot!

Kick me when you're done as we discussed

Impressive!
Some of those graphics cards look better than ones in most of the rigs here

Pretty much everything in these pictures is up for grabs.

Once I've tested it all, I'll get a list together of everything that's working and post it in the for sale/freecycle thread.

Mostly X2 AMDs and 1 Pentium D. The better X2s are already spoken for, I'm afraid but the Pentium D 805 clocks like a good 'un and isn't too shabby. Dunno what your iBook is like, performance wise but if you think the 805 will be better, you're welcome to it

Well it's a 1.4 G4 not sure what that is PC performance Will probably make a hackintosh out of but not sure what parts are best

<cheek mode>
would it be possible to ask Mr Feek for some suggestions and see what parts you have??
</cheek mode>

I'll happily admit I know nothing about the PC parts market anymore

EDIT: feek has mentioned something about 775 processor and p65 gigabyte board

Well, the Pentium D is a 775 but it's nowhere near as fast as the Core2 chips. Dunno if it would still work as a Hackintosh - I don't know much about that side of things at all.

For a hack it's really got to be a core2duo or quadcore jobbie otherwise kernel hacking has to happen and you really want to be using a vanilla kernel. Any of the Gigabyte boards that we were talking about previously, 965P-DS3 or similar are perfect.
