WinAmp 5.541
Anyone else using this?
Anyone getting stupid memory usage from it? Just looked at Task Manager as the PC felt a bit sluggish and WinAmp had a 1.2GB VM file and was taking 900MB of RAM. Somewhat more than the 30MB i'm used to it using :/

5.531 here and 5.541 on my laptop, I can't say I'd noticed any increased memory usage between the two but I've got to admit I hadn't actually checked.
5.531 is reporting about 7mb usage and 0% CPU power in Task Manager at the moment for what use that information is.

Ya, it whores up my memory from time to time. Tend to find it's worst when the Milk-drop visualisation is running.

On the laptop now with 5.541 and for comparison it is using approx 9mb and 0% CPU for streaming internet radio.

I've had to switch to iTunes for now, WinAmp refuses to play nicely, i'll wait til 5.542+ is out then try that one.

Would you prefer an earlier version of Winamp instead? I'm pretty sure I've got at least 5.531 saved and probably quite a few more so I could upload them to my webspace if you wanted?
