BBC HD are showing Heroes S3E2 at 2200 on the 1st at the same time BBC 3 is showing it in SD. As far as I can see neither BBC3 or BBC HD are showing the first episode in HD or SD.

I'm assuming this would have started in the US already?
Series 2 was pretty crap to be honest, but I'll watch it anyway. Lost > all. |

I thought lost was terrible after the first series, like Prison Break, a series that should have been one series only and left at that.

Indeed, there's only so long you can escape from a Prison or so long you can be sat on an island.
Lost would have been a much better show for being 2 seasons. Those 2 concepts (PB and Lost) were very limited in their conception, where as shows such as The Shield, Dexter, Entourage etc.. are unlimited in their durations as long as the ideas behind them are fresh. |

Yep, Amercians should accept success at the first attempt and leave it as a classic.. rather than kill it.. but they can't.. They have to go overboard and OTT on everything!!

Americans do push things, ironically the one time they didn't was Firefly, which Fox cancelled - the show later went on to win a poll as the greatest TV (or perhaps Sci-Fi) show of all time.
The other obvious case of a great show being cancelled is Arrested Development. |

Fox also cited that it was canceled because the viewing figures were too low to warrant continuing, they also stated before it was canceled that the figures were high despite not having a regular slot. They also showed it out of order, so the characters were never introduced until the second episode.
