Well, it mentioned USNC on the site before in the 'hint', and that's most definitely Halo related.

As for tonight, I'm not going anywhere, so 8pm is not an issue at all.
If I forget, you can give me a nudge on the phone - Jen and Chris both have my number. Not sure I want to give it out in the public section though

Hmmm. Hmmm. What was that? It says Halo 3 at the end. Is it the rumoured game were you're just a guy in a squad? Why say Halo 3 though. Hmmm. I liked the little avatar dude

The look is very different though. Its obviously not in game but its got a different feel to it than Halo.

The Bungie forums are going nuts as you'd expect. Teen angst!

The location is New Mombasa (seen in red while the SI reboots), which you play in Halo 2 and 3 (the last level we played last night actually, where The Ark was) - and it gets pretty bum raped, so that would suggest you're looking at events at least before then. The things dropping are supposedly ODTS's, and Bungie were allegedly working on a squad based title, so it could be that. The specific mention of 3 though makes you wonder.

Pete - The avatar is the 'super intendant', and if you downloaded the Bungie day picture pack this year you can have him as a gamerpic
