iPods and USB 1.1
Quick question. Going to be buying an iPod soon and on their site it says it needs a USB 2 port. I only have USB 1.1 on my laptop and I'm not planning to change it. Will I be ok or is USB 1.1 more than just slower than USB 2?

As far as I'm aware it should work, but it will be very slow transferring stuff to the iPod.

Old, but probably still applies. If your laptop has a 32-bit cardbus slot, USB 2.0 cards are pretty damn cheap compared to that iPod. |

Come to think of it I've got a USB 2.0 card but it's only as fast as the pcmcia slot which is also gert slow
