Straight petrol works wonders. Just use generous amounts of "No Smoking" signs.

No, but it will eat around the dog dirt so you can easily find it and dispose of it

Lots of little grass-encircled piles of dog-dirt...

Of course, if the goat eats a load of grass, you then end up with a load of manure.
