They came out really well Mic hasn't made comment yet but I liked them and so did the Horde
You don't need the salt at all and I kept in the grated chocolate (more because I was auto pilot that for any other reason) which could be left out to make a "healthier" cookie *thinks of all the sugar in them and giggles at the idea of a "healthy" cookie* I was thinking of trying a nutty one but I'm not sure what nuts would be best. I was also looking at the various types of dried fruit in tesco and pondering attempts with a few of those. (I'm not a cookie addict but I have a few things coming up where "donations to the kitchen" are welcomed and cookies are quicker to do than my normal quiches) |

Macadamia nuts always go well in cakes and biscuits, so I'd try them. Chopped pecans would also be nice imo.
I agree on the salt front. I usually plain forget to put it in, but it was on the recipe, so I put it there. I also find that the grated chocolate bar just gives it... something. I bet putting the nuts in but keeping the grated chocolate would taste fab!!
