I quite like it here...

*must be sad*

Don't get me wrong - I would relish the opportunity to live abroad for a year or two in various countries but this is my home... If I moved elsewhere it would only be to explore other peoples culture/help out where I can for a minimum amount of time. I would end up back here

Seattle, Washington. I spent a couple of weeks there back in 2006 and fell in love with the place. I wasn't quite so keen on the near vertical hill that I had to walk up to get back from downtown to Capitol Hill but I still love the place.

I don't think so, I'm the same.

I have lived in different countries and been on holiday to lots of lovely places and had a great time. It's interesting and fun experiencing new places and ways of life. I loved living in Germany and still miss it, however, nowhere feels like 'home' except the Highlands. I'm like Pheebs, I could happily live in other places, but I think I would always want to end up back here. That said who knows what life may bring

I hope to visit Houston someday, though not to live.
If you do visit Houston, make sure you also visit Austin and Dallas.
Both are fantastic places to be.

I don't want to live anywhere but here but to go with the flow of the thread, I would say Canada as my favourite X was/is Canadian & her & Canadian friends were the Mellowest people I've ever met.
Being the sensitive soul that I am + the people around me have a great effect on me. Mellow people bring the best out in me

I think you're a social chameleon, in that your emotional state changes to match that of those in your social circle.

I hit submit then wondered if you'd think I meant it as a criticism/insult, when in fact it was neither. I think MANY people do the same and adapt to the company they keep at a given time, but some to a greater degre than others.
I know you've had a colourful past, but would you say you considered yourself to be easily led?

No I'm not easily led quite the opposite in fact, It's just that when people are mellow around me then I am uber mellow back. Equally I pick up on bad vibes early & go the other way in a flash.
