I'm not sure I'd trust an unknown online service with something as personal as a CV, but then again, CVs get submitted to online recruiting places all the time, so

Well you can download converters as well, so no need to worry...? In fact i'm pretty sure MS actually have a converter on their website somewhere its just a stupid site to try and browse.

Me again, sorry guys.

When I opened the file it showed the tracking changes, so I just unclicked 'mark up' and it displayed correctly.

I saved it then sent to my bro and its still displaying the changes.

Tried to follow the help but its not helping

That's just a view option - the mark-up will still be present in the document. I'll have a quick look around in Word and see if I can find how to remove the mark-up completely, assuming that's what you want to do.
