Had my first crap day in years :(
I don't know why but I really felt upset/delicate this morning - which is very very unusual for me as I'm always bouncing around the room even if I'm ill.
Then I started to feel better and the girl I like @ work came down with a bad fever, which turned into her shivering like mad for the last 10 minutes of work even though it wasn't cold. Then my manager pissed off and left me to cash up on my own. We was £75 under what we should have been. Not good! Now I only recently got promoted but everything seemed to go wrong tonight. The alarm company called my manager cos I took longer to cash up due to shortage procedures, then someone left their bag behind so I had to open it up to get it, then we all ended up missing the last bus... Kinda **** day tbh Off to get some cola and chocolate now! /rant over (just needed to get it off my chest )

[Homer simpson] Worst day of your life(or several years) so far! [/Homer simpson] Now use her flu as a way of impressing her. Go get her some flowers and choc to make her feel better.

Don't worry Blighter, just be safe in the knowledge that it was just a little test. Life will throw up much worse stuff in years to come

I know you well enough to know that today was a new day and was probably the best of your life so far.
Callow youth though you are Blighter, you are a constant inspiration on darker days.

Yesterday seems to have been a bad day for everyone. It was definitely my worst day at work... maybe this year. It's far too long and boring a story for me to recount though.

Im glad its not just me then. Im on my own (the other guy is taking a week off) supporting 200 users who have all decided they want to move desks around. Yesturday.
Then 5 pcs decided to spit their dummies out and have various bits of harware die, so I've had to replace those, then I had 5 new starters dumped on me who are starting on monday. It takes about an hour of admin for each starter, plus I have to find bits of kit and cobble it together so that they aren't sat on the floor when they arrive. Management are supposed to give 3 weeks notice of new people. I am now kind of glad I'm leaving now. I pity the guy Im leaving behind.

Ahahahahahaahah! I just re-read the thread title and missed out the word 'day'.
That sucks 'jinks. Sounds not far off what I've been left with at the moment.

I did a 07:00 to 00:30 yesterday - 17.5 hours
The only break I had apart from making myself lunch and dinner was to fit a new mobo to a friend's PC Sounds like you need a holiday Blighter, just like me. I just don't have any time at the moment so it will have to be short break in the Lake District. I suggest you do something similar

The only problem for me is trying to get to places like that as I don't drive yet. Got a day off today so just chilling. About to go watch my lil cousin do her nativity play at school
