Whisky.
A one for Stan here.
A neighbour of mine has a bottle of whisky labelled John Crabbe & Co with another name of Hassall on it. It is unopened and is pre-war. Doe thsi brand ring and bells ? ( no pun intended )

Nah, it'll keep pretty much indefinitely, unlike wine and beer spirits don't tend to change flavor in the bottle

Never heard of it mate. Sounds like something a collector might be interested in though. Might be worth contacting a few collectors to see if they can help with details.
As MB says, as long as the seal hasn't been broken, the whisky should be pretty much as it was when it was bottled. Sorry I can't help but I'm a whisky drinker, not a collector. One of the guys who does some work for us now and again is a collector. If I see him, I'll ask if he knows anything about it
