I loved Zack and Miri but thought Pineapple Express was pretty bad. Was hugely disappointed by it.

I know quite a few people who thought this. In fact, in my personal life I don't know anyone who likes Pineapple Express.

Epic movie - -10/10
I think it's been a while i actually stopped a film before it finished, this movie is pants, just constant not funny gags and it was a chore to watch. Waste of time, i want that 30 mins back ! |

Just come back from seeing Defiance.
Will keep this short as I'm expected in bed! Brilliant film, nice to see a true story out there. Only one massively bad thing about it... was Daniel Craigs accent! When he wasn't shouting he was superb. But. It was Daniel Craig. And he was working out in the evening after work for James Bond too. So we'll let him off. Go see though - top notch! 8.5/10 Would deserve a 9 but his accent... well yeh As above (oh and this is on my comparison to other war films - Schindlers List being at the top with 9.8 ) |

SPR is a 9 with me. Maybe a squidgey more, maybe a squidgey less... it depends what mood I'm in
Schindlers List is always top top top top top for me though. *Everyone* should watch it. Teenagers especially |

Shoot 'Em Up
Clive Owen gives us an acting masterclass in a cliché-free, realistic piece of cinematography. The script is far from unsettling and not far-fetched at all. It's good to see a film that goes against the glamorisation of guns. ...are all things I wish I could say about this movie. It's a bit of mindless fun, and it's nice to be set the challenge of suspending disbelief so many times at so high a level. 3/10

1 point for Giamatti.
1 point for Monica Belluci's lips. 1 point for using a killer carrot? I figure that's the reason for the 3 points? . I actually quite enjoyed it though. |

Yeah, it passed 90 minutes. Giamatti is always entertaining but came across as a bit of a lame hitman. Good attitude, not enough results.

No Country for Old Men.
Top film. Weird to watch a film with absolutely no soundtrack apart from at the start and at the end. Javier Bardem is one scary f****r!!! 9/10
