That's disappointing to hear . I was always impressed at the completion rates of your RPG's.

I'm bouncing between Mirror's Edge and Mercenaries 2 currently. Mirror's Edge is good fun although a little infuriating at times just trying to figure out where to go. It's great when you pull off a great string of moves though flowing through each one of them. Mercenaries is just great fun for blowing the crap out of everything. Taking down buildings with artillery fire and rolling around in tanks is just awesome

Maybe I won't be playing Rayman just yet. Bloody disc is scratched to pieces and won't play any further than the opening FMV
Bloody Blockbusters, terrible place

Crap loads of Rock Band 2.
I still haven't gotten over the games Awesomeness even though after a 754 note streak & 100 percenting a tune I got Zilch gamer points I've started messing with the challenges now as I have played through the game on Medium. Medium was a good beginners level for me & a pleasant way of unlocking all the tunes, Next stop Hard Can't recommend this game enough. |

I'm on chapter 2 of Tomb Raider Underworld and so far it's not so bad. There's far too many collectibles but over all I'm enjoying it.
However I've started to turn my attention to what to play next and could do with some pointers. If they'd go and release Tales of Vesperia I'd be sorted, however... Here are some I'm thinking about: Army of Two ~ thought it might be a fun little shooter or The Bourne Conspiracy or Quantum of Solace ~ more shootie shootie Far Cry 2 ~ might go back and pick this up now, would keep me busy for quite a while but it does sound like it could be very frustrating Tomb Raider: Anniversay ~ more of the same KUF Circle of Doom ~ I'd quite like a fantasy action rpg but it's by all reports very tedious CSI ~ I'll be honest, it would be for the points mostly. Anything else? Or should I just pick up a PS3 and get through Uncharted, LBP and KZ2 until Star Ocean comes out? |

Bond and The Bourne Conspiracy, whilst being from similar franchises are not that similar as games, for a start Bond is the much better game (but so NOT the better movie). Quantum of Solace is actually a lot of fun, even on 007 difficulty, has some great levels and you play key sections of Casino Royale too, I would definitely recommend it.
FarCry 2 is beautiful, as nice as any external environments have been in games, it does seem to lack a lot of story progression as a result of its size, but there is plenty to do (although rather repetative). It's a good game though and worth picking up for the level editor alone. CSI has the worst graphics on the console, easily the worst interface, poor sounds and truly awful presentation, however I did enjoy the stories and because you can't really fail a mission you will get the achievement anyway. I wouldn't recommend buying it unless it was dirt cheap, but I would recommend playing it. Army of Two is okay, but I did not like it at all in Single Player, I only completed it because I played it in co-op. There are much better shooters than this - it should have been brilliant, but wasn't. Probably EA's weakest new IP from 2008. If you picked up a PS3 you could play Killzone 2, which is out very soon (same day as Halo Wars), Uncharted I loved, LBP is good fun and your daughter would love it (although I do find it struggles as SP game, I do enjoy it in co-op). You also have Motorstorm 1 and 2 as well as Resistance 1 and 2. However, as daft as it sounds, you might miss the achievements you would get on Xbox360 and you WILL find yourself buying all multi-format games on the Xbox360. But as you are set on getting a PS3 anyway sometime in the future, then Killzone 2 might be the time. |

I wish they'd hurry up with Tales of Vesperia too
