Not Belkin. Not if you value your sanity.

I use Devolo ones for my sisters connection. These ones are only 10mb ones (the very first out) but they work really well. For future use, you can get 100mb ones for £50 at scan (Linksys).

Don't have any experience with Devolo but they sound safe. Linksys should be fine. Netgear are fine too. In all cases, best to be gentle and keep them well ventilated.

Speaking of dustbunnies, my HTPC was full of them. Went in there looking for which fan was making all the noise. Sadly it's the PSU one so nowt I can do about save launch a pre-emptive strike with a vacuum cleaner. I also discovered the case fan that was the previous noisemaker had completely died, so replaced both case fans with Noctua NF-P12s I'd bought months ago for this very job. While I was in there I thought I might as well add another 2GB RAM.

All I need now is to find that £50 PC world card then, it better not have grown legs.

I love those Noctua fans Not only are they quiet but they pick up amazingly little dust (think mine are the RF8s).

85mb Develo ones for £57 from Currys, found the gift card

Bit of a pain to install, have to put in the 16 digit codes on each one; and then it randomised a password. It also wasn't picking it up on the extention lead so had to test in numerous locations and now using a different extention lead.

Anyways, seems all sorted now - so far... touch wood... thanks
