Yeah generally windows starts going a bit mental when you run out of space completely. But its got a gig to spare atm and its keeping it just about happy enough it seems.

If you've had any crash reports from Vista, have a look in \Users\<username>\Appdata\Local\Microsoft\Windows\ WER. I just purged several hundred MB worth of trash out of there.

3.62GB Windows folder after 3 years with minimal efforts made to clean up.

I love XP.

I ran into the same issue on my laptop. Try compressing the drive (My computer --> right click C: --> properties --> compress tick box)

May run slightly slower but free'd up nearly 2 out of 10GB for me.

Look down, back up. Where are you?
You're on Boat Drinks, reading the signature your signature could be like.
I'm on a computer.
