iPhone went bouncy bouncy down the street
I got out of the car outside mums this evening and managed to drop my iPhone from about four foot up into the air onto a hard concrete surface. This is very unusual for me, I'm normally very careful about how I look after things and it's really out of the ordinary for me to drop stuff like this. I wasn't happy.
The phone is undamaged but the case it was in isn't. In fact it's knackered. I hate to think what state the phone would be in now if it hadn't been in the Switcheasy CapsuleNeo case. I've emailed them with details of what happened and I'm hoping I can buy a replacement back piece (the part which has broken). If not, I'll buy another case of the same type. It just goes to show that no matter how careful we are, accidents can happen and I'm just pleased that I had my iPhone in a decent case.

Ouch! Glad the phone's ok now
I dropped mine months back and caused a small dent but they seem surprisingly sturdy little things. Then again mine's in for repair now so maybe not so sturdy

I dropped my HTC TyTN onto a railway line. I'm really glad that was in a case as I don't think falling onto hardcore would have done the screen any good at all.
Seems the case has done it's job though. Good move. |

Better the case, then the phone.

Sounds and looks like the case has done it's job though.

Nasty
I really don't know how but I've never dropped either of mine and I've had them since not long after the original was launched. I have a little folio leather case for mine which I love...I bought a new identical one and couldnt bear to get rid of the original, it just feels nice! I've not seen a cover I like other than this one, not that I've looked much.

Definitely.
I've still got the accidental damage cover on mine, but as I'm the most careful person in the world (sorry, this was a figure of speech and I'm neither claiming to BE the most careful person in the world nor am I actually the most careful person in the world and waving my imaginary e-penis about the fact ) I'm starting to think that I may as well cancel the £7/month or so and save the money. @the OP. You just made a good commercial for the phone case. |

I can make an even better commercial - The manufacturers of the case replied and all they want is my original transaction ID and they'll replace the broken part FoC

Good to see companies giving this kind of service to their customers, especially in the current climate. |
