A quick question about Charity/Fundraising
After a bit of advice and guidance.
I have been asked to do a charity walk up Ben Nevis this July and I want what ever I raise to be split 3 seperate ways. * My Sons Football Team (Local) * NSPCC (National) * Amnesty International (Int.) Now what are the implications for giving a share of this to my Son's Football team. Although they aren't a registered charity, they are a not for profit organisation. Are there any potential problems in getting sponsorship from individuals for something that isn't a charity |

I don't see that being a problem - but with it not being a registered charity you would probably find it difficult to obtain the "gift aid" for them (claiming the tax back from government on all donations.).

Can't help you there, but me and flat mates went up Ben Nevis for a giggle last December, had looooads of fun Do it again in a heartbeat, i'm sure you'll enjoy yourself. Camping down at Glen Nevis was pretty tricky though, since the weather decided it was going to try and ruin our spirits by being minus a lot for the whole extended weekend (it failed).
