Dude, I'll fully admit to knowing eff all about photography but I think you're gonna need a lens too.

Hmmmm, it might have to go back for a replacement, It seems to have an issue with the manufacture of the focus screen meaning it has an issue in the viewfinder (a mark) trying to find out if its user fixable, even if it is it may still be going back.

No point trying to fix it yourself, if you bodge it up then you may well invalidate the warranty.

It could just be dust on the sensor or focussing screen. Either way I wouldn't advise messing with it yourself, at least not so soon after you have bought it.

Good camera though and the Canon lens system is awesome. Did you buy any lenses with the body?

Did you say you were sending it back? I know it doesn't affect the end result but I can imagine it to be annoying.

What was that BIG LONG LENS you had (no, not *that* one ) on Sunday? That looked awesome.

I'm still madly in love with my Dolly (named after another famous 40D (well, double D, but lets not split hairs). Especially when coupled with the Sigma 105, it's cracking
