Half full people Half full
They just said the same thing about California. Unemployment level is at it's highest point since 1983, 10.2%.
That's nearly 9 out of 10 people gainfully employed somehow, earning money and keeping the economy ticking over. How can that be a bad thing?
If you looked at the unemployment details for the area over the past 19 years, you'll see that the unemployment level averages around 6.6% anyway, so even then it's just over a 3% rise, so less than doubled.

Alternating nights and days or some other pattern?

Our noc 24x7 team did 12 hour shifts, 8 til 8, 4 on 4 off alternating between days and nights.

I feel the same, I have stopped watching the news and reading newspapers and only flick through news sites, if I cant hear its not happening and thus stress free, just got a part time job which felt great, crap work but loving working again and earning some money, doing well at college and glad I am working towards a trade, people keep banging on to me about the recession but it will pick up and I will be able to earn some decent money and enjoy my life, giving up drink for lent has made me think about alcohol, I could easily never drink it again.

I've always been a pretty positive person and rarely feel down. Had a crappy week last week but that's out of the way now. Keep on trudging along with a smile on your face
